Privacy Policy

Last updated: 16 August 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Sadec Studio (“we”, “us”) handles information in connection with the mobile applications and games we publish (each, an “App”) and the website at sadec.app.

The short version: our Apps work without accounts, and we do not collect personal data about you ourselves. We never sell your data or build profiles about you. Where an App shows ads or uses Game Center, those services are run by third parties and are described below.

1. Information we collect

We do not collect, store or transmit personal information from our Apps. There is no sign-up, no login, and no user account, and your progress is never uploaded to us.

We never ask for or receive:

  • your name, email address, phone number or postal address;
  • your contacts, photos, microphone or camera data;
  • your precise or approximate location;
  • your browsing history on other apps and websites.

Some Apps include a free tier supported by ads, and some use Apple's Game Center for leaderboards. Those features involve third parties who handle data under their own policies — see sections 4 and 5.

2. Data stored on your device

Our Apps save data locally on your device so they can work as expected — for example your game progress, saved puzzles, records, statistics, preferences and settings. This data stays on your device (and, if you have enabled it, in your own private iCloud storage, which we cannot access). It is removed when you delete the App.

3. Website

Our website does not use cookies, analytics or tracking scripts. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address, request time and user-agent) for a short period for security and reliability purposes. These logs are not used to identify visitors and are not combined with any other data.

4. Advertising

Some of our Apps are free and show ads to cover their costs. Ads are delivered by Google AdMob, an advertising service operated by Google. To serve and measure ads, Google may process technical information such as your device type and model, operating system version, coarse location derived from your IP address, the app you are using, ad interactions, and — only if you allow it — your device's advertising identifier (IDFA).

We do not receive this information, we cannot identify you from it, and we do not share anything about you with Google ourselves. For details of how Google handles it, see Google's privacy and terms for business and how Google uses data from apps that use its services.

Your choices

  • Tracking. On iOS, an App asks your permission before your advertising identifier is used to track you across other companies' apps and websites. If you decline, ads still appear but are not personalised. You can change your mind at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
  • Consent in the EEA, UK and Switzerland. Where local law requires it, an App shows a consent message before any personalised advertising, letting you accept or refuse. You can reopen it from the App's settings to change your answer.
  • No ads at all. Buying the ad-free option in an App — Cozy Plus in Sudoku Cozy — removes the ads and the ad requests along with them.

5. Game Center

Some Apps offer leaderboards through Apple's Game Center. If you have signed in to Game Center, your score and the nickname you have chosen there are submitted to Apple and shown to other players on the leaderboard. This is handled by Apple under its own privacy policy; we do not receive your Apple Account details, and you can play without signing in to Game Center at all.

6. Purchases

Any in-app purchases or subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple. We never see or store your payment details. Billing questions and refunds are handled by Apple through your Apple Account.

When you download an App or make a purchase, that transaction happens through the Apple App Store. Apple collects and processes that information under its own privacy policy; we receive only anonymous, aggregated sales and crash statistics from Apple, which cannot be used to identify individual users.

If you send us an email, we receive the information you choose to include in that message and keep it only as long as needed to answer you.

7. App-specific practices

Not every App uses every feature described above. In detail:

  • Sudoku Cozy — puzzles, records and statistics are stored only on your device. It shows ads in the free version (section 4), which the Cozy Plus purchase removes, and it submits daily-puzzle finish times to a Game Center leaderboard if you are signed in (section 5). It requires no account and plays completely offline apart from ads and leaderboards.

8. Children

Our Apps are suitable for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we do not direct our Apps primarily at children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information — for example by emailing us — please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the GDPR (Europe), the KVKK (Türkiye) or the CCPA (California) to access, correct, delete or export the personal data a company holds about you, and to object to its processing.

Because we do not collect personal data ourselves, in most cases we simply hold nothing about you. If you have emailed us and would like that correspondence deleted, write to support@sadec.app and we will remove it. You may also delete everything an App has stored by deleting the App from your device.

For data handled by our advertising partner, you can withdraw tracking permission at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, or contact that partner directly using the links in section 4. Google also offers ad settings at adssettings.google.com.

10. Security

Since data stays on your device, its security is protected by your device's own safeguards, such as your passcode and Apple's sandboxing. We take reasonable measures to protect the limited information we do hold, such as support emails.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our Apps evolve — for example if a future App needs a feature that requires additional data. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date above, and any material change will be described on this page. Practices that differ for a specific App will always be listed here explicitly.

12. Contact

If you have any questions about this policy or about privacy in our Apps, please write to support@sadec.app. We aim to reply within a few business days.
